Yankees vs Twins

Monday's game against the Minnesota Twins, another Yankee's Win in grand fashion 12-4.

The pictures are a little crunchy, note to self, set the white balance again after the sun goes down. I'm blaming it on the heat, not the Beck's.

Yankees vs Texas - We Spank 'em Finally

Final score Yankees 15 - Rangers 7

The bats finally came alive for the Yanks, including a 2 out Grand Slam by Giambi! That was sweet! But the Rangers came back and kept it a close game until a 9 run 7th inning by the Yankees.

The highest scoring game I have ever attended, and my second with a Grand Slam.
Nice to see the bats come alive, hopefully they can keep that going. With the way the Yankess have been playing lately, maybe they should take some of those runs and spread them out a bit more. But it was fun to watch.

And now the pictures, a little more intent on watching the game tonight, so not that many. I did get a shot of the pitch where Giambi bashed the Grand Slam, but it's too blurry

Jorge Posada - next batter after Giambi's grand slam.
Why couldn't that photo have turned out this good?

Final Score. Thanks Yanks!

Yankees vs. Toronto, Giambi Brings It Home

Man o' man what a game. The most exciting ending I have ever attended that's for sure. I'll leave the real play-by-play up to the Professionals, but in case you haven't heard...

Bottom of the ninth Yankees are down 8-7 after Matsui singled in A-Rod. With 2 outs Giambi comes in to pinch hit for Molina, after 2 strikes he nails a huge walk off homer to he upper deck. The Stadium went CRAAAZY, it was awesome! The entire game was a heart attack central, so glad to see the Yanks pull out the late game comeback. It used to seem so natural for the Yanks to pull out the comeback, but no so much lately, let's hope this is the beginning of something good.

Also of note, Jorge was back today. Jorge is my favorite Yankee. A while back I pledged; that should we attend the game where he returns from the DL, I would buy a Posada shirt. So sure enough, I am now the proud owner of a Posada t-shirt.

Now for the pictures, I got the full starting rotation today.

Yankees vs Cleveland May 6, 2008

Yankees
Yankees Vs Cleavland May 6

A beautiful night for baseball, and a great game, until Joba decided to get all human and give up a 3 run homer. That's baseball, it sucked to watch, but if the good guys always won, well we probably wouldn't watch would we. Still it really sucked to watch, no I mean really sucked.

Then Greg got hit in the head by a flying cane, yeah a cane. A little girl with a Mariano like arm threw it from about 10 rows back. Good thing he was numb from the homer, and the beers probably helped too.

Labor Day Weekend Highlights

STORAGE

LABOR DAY - WEST INDIAN CARNIVAL PARADE
It's in the hood, so I walked through, on the way home from the game.

JORGE
I believe that was a single, in the 1st or second. Unfortunately the rest of the game pretty much sucked. We lost 7-1

THE ROCKET
1st inning before it all went downhill. Did I mention this game sucked?

The old and the new.

Thanks to Tief for hooking up the tickets. Unfortunately the game didn't go so well...
