10/29/09 Blondie at the Brooklyn Museum

I saw Blondie perform last night at the Brooklyn Museum, for the opening reception of Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 to the Present The exhibition is very cool, I highly recommend it.

What A Wonderful World

After work going away drinks for a colleague were nice. But left the bar frustrated and annoyed, as the Yankees dropped game 1 of the World Series. Got on the train and spotted this guy out the window, a neat shot I thought.

Then the conductor came through, last stop wait for the 2, grrrr grumble grumble grumble.

Got off the train and he was playing "What a Wonderful World" It all came into perspective. suddenly things weren't so bad, just a stupid game and all.

Then....

45 minutes later, another transfer, and the MTA's usual excellent communications, and well to quote Shannon "I want to stab the MTA in the face"

But the saying goes, don't go to bed angry, so I'll try this:

The Return of Flux Agent

I haven't done the noise thing in quite a while, so I needed a fix. Last night I dug up some old Flux Agent material, and started noodling. A few hours later I had this, no great masterpiece but a fun evening playing.

The video was sort of an after thought, since I can't seem to upload mp3's directly to the blog.

I recommend headphones.
